Religious Keynote & Seminar

Religious Keynote Presentation

Title – “Ancient Awakening, Our Awakening

ChurchThis keynote presentation is interspersed with breathtaking a cappella music and powerful character portrayals. The characters reflect and draw strength from stories in the bible. These ancient biblical stories inspire the characters to discover and honor parts of their and others’ authentic voice, gifts, identities, passions and purposes.

The transformation that takes place as a result of each character’s encounter with scripture instigates one or more parts of a death and rebirth cycle within each of them. This cycle includes: death of parts of their old self, discovery of who they and others authentically are, and a refocusing and rebirth of parts of their lives. As a result of this death and rebirth cycle, pieces of the characters’ vision are purified. They can more clearly see others for who they really are, see and meet the genuine needs of others, see the contributions of others, and the relationship with themselves, with others, with God and with those they serve are deepened.

Debriefing Session following “Ancient Awakening, Our Awakening
(This makes an ideal 2 hour break-out session after the performance of this keynote)

This two-hour debriefing session gives church members the opportunity to:

  1. Verbalize and process what they experienced while watching the keynote
  2. Experience a thorough, deep understanding of how each character:
    1. Experienced the death and rebirth cycle: death of parts of their old self, discovery of who they and others authentically are, and a refocusing and rebirth of parts of their lives
    2. Discovered and honored their and others’ authentic voice, gifts, identities, passions and purposes
  3. Learn new behaviors and paradigms built on the character portrayals. When church members practice the behaviors and paradigms, the death and rebirth cycle central to the permanent awakening process that is Rebekah’s mission is ignited in the relationships between church members and those the serve in their outreach ministries. Church members become better able to draw out the innate voice, gifts, identities, passions and purposes from the poor and oppressed they serve and form genuine partnerships with them. This gives those church members the priceless opportunity to rise up and take personal and professional ownership and leadership. The authentic vitality, creativity, productivity and accountability within the helping relationships between church members and those they serve increases, and these increased levels can be maintained on more and more of a permanent basis.

The death and rebirth cycle purifies parts of church members’ vision and they are better able to:

  • See others for who they really are
  • See and meet the genuine needs of others
  • See the contributions of others
  • Deepen the relationship with themselves, with others, with God and with those they serve
